If CSK are to get anywhere close to a perfect middle order, they will have to announce replacements for Raina and Bhajji. Their bowling seems really good, so their middle order batting is what needs to be fixed.

A perfect candidate for #3 is Pujara. He has a T20 100 in Feb 2019, also has 7 T20 50s at an avg of ~30.
Another person they could consider is Dhruv Shorey. CSK made a big mistake releasing him. You really cant kick a player with 6 T20 50s in 30 innings at a SR of 120, specially when Raina is out for the season. This tweet sums it up (It's his own account):

While the decision to release dhruv was shocking it can't be called as a mistake bcoz raina being no 3 they couldn't have accommodated him and they already had jagadeesan, ruturaj waiting in the bench.
Having seen csk all these years they will only announce replacement if they really need it.

They should trade in someone (no one would take kedar ) with DC's Ajinkya rahane as he is not getting chance in DC

DC has already made statement on this yesterday that Ajinkya Rahane is very important player for our set up we don't want to trade him with other team and make our opponents strong by giving our best player's so easily.

Then it's tough path ahead for CSK .
@Sparker0i bro
Playing T20 after more than 1and half year ago for player like pujara if he is brought in by CSK would be tough . Even virat kohli strugged ( still struggling little bit) in earlier matches due lack of practice and international matches due to corona lockdown , then pujara won't do any wonders for CSK

Even if CSK wants a replacement, not much options are there.
The only notable unsold players are Yususf Pathan, Hanuma Vihari, Pujara, Shahrukh (TN player), Rohan Kadam, Manoj Tiwary.
Dhoni is not likely to bring in players whom he don't know or watched.

They certainly need now. If they don't, it is a big mistake on their part
This is what we think but csk management always thinks the other way... Let's see if they call any replacement

Manoj Tiwari looks better having played under MS Dhoni while Playing for Rising Pune Super Giants.
