IPL may run without spectators & postpone. But, it may be held in empty stadiums like in banglore & mumbai. It was declared by maharastra minister yesterday.

IMO, IPL can take place with some regulation like no foreign players till april 15 and closed stadium for some weeks till covid-19 gets erased from our country and then everything can become as it should be, like foreign players in India from April 15, only 3-4 matches for each team can happen in this time, and opening of stadiums for viewers (if possible only).

Cancellation can cause huge blow for BCCI and Star, After Star brought the rights for a horror amount.

There will be many challenges.
Not just players, but coaches, physios, support staff, umpires, commentators, technicians, Star's foreign crew also will be kept outside.
Even import of materials; sports gears, broadcast gadgets etc; required will be affected.

Postpone to April 29th is a best idea.
Postponing is not a solution. After a month, the Corona situation will get worse rather than better. IPL has to happen now or never.

I would prefer a 29 March start with matches played in empty stadiums. It is definitely a risk to allow mass gatherings as that of IPL matches

Agree situation will get worse postpone is not solution

If BCCI really wants IPL to take place due to the billions at stake -
1. Bring all 8 teams with available players ans staff to one location, where matches can take place.
2. Have the matches in a single, empty stadium; so that broadcasting can happen and save the billions invested.

Travelling around the country is not practical now.
