It’s good for KKR that they backed him after one bad season. He single handedly made KKR qualified for playoffs in the previous season from an impossible position.
To win World Cup, you need some genuine all-rounders (1983 and 2011 are prime examples). Venky Iyer have the potential, needs to be groomed.

We don't have Mahi this time around. Nobody is in prime form like Yuvraj, Gambhir and Dhoni was at that time. Don't forget Zaheer Khan bowled brilliantly in that world cup.
