Disney Star's sports head Sanjog Gupta said in a conversation with Dainik Jagran that you all know that Raina will not play in IPL this time but we wanted to connect him in some way or the other. He is called Mr IPL. He was once the highest run scorer in IPL. He has millions of fans. At the same time, Shastri used to do commentary in English for our Star Sports earlier. He didn't do commentary for us after the 2017 Champions Trophy final. He joined the Indian team as the head coach.

The special thing is that this time he will do commentary not in English but in Hindi. Sanjog told that Shastri's Hindi sentiment is more and because of this he is also taking Hindi classes from our teacher on Zoom. Some notes are also being sent to them. Some commentary rehearsals have also been done. Overall, we want that the spirit he has should be maintained, along with this he also speaks good Hindi which will be enjoyed by the audience.

When Sanjog was asked whether Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri would once again be seen doing commentary together, he said that it is not decided yet. Gavaskar will also be in Hindi commentary but a team will be in the bio-bubble. The same commentators will go on the field while the other team of commentators will stay in our studio. Now it has to be seen whether the pair of these two can come together or not.
