RR is misusing Padikkal. First they put him at 3, then promoted to open, then back to 3 and now at 4..
He was much better off at RCB where he had a clear opening role.
Shame on both haaRCB for not buying him back, and on RR for not giving him proper clarity...

Scenarios:

LSG /RR

• RCB can finish on maximum 16 points. RR & LSG are already on 16 points.
• To pass LSG's NRR, RCB needs around 150 to 155 runs difference in their win vs GT + LSG's defeat vs KKR (means 75 runs margin in 1 match & 75 to 80 in another match)
• To pass RR's NRR, it will be much higher.
• So, LSG & RR are in Top 4 if there is no big result.

In following scenarios, it is assumed that RCB can't overtake LSG's NRR.

RCB

• Win match + winner of PBKS vs DC should not win last match
• Other NRR equation mentioned above

DC

• Win 2 matches
• Win vs PBKS, MI wins vs SRH, SRH wins vs PBKS
• Win 1 match + PBKS or RCB should not reach 16 points + good NRR

PBKS

• same as DC, replace PBKS with DC in above

KKR

• Must win match + GT wins vs RCB + winner of PBKS vs DC should not win last match + good NRR

SRH

• Same as KKR, but they need to win 2 matches with big margin (current NRR is very poor)
