Happy Birthday to you Sir.C.V.Raman
Nov 7, 1888-Nov 21, 1970
# Profesor: what is evil?
Studend: "Sir I will explain but 1st answer my questions."Does the cold exist?"
Profesor: Yes.
Student: "You r wrong sir. There is nothing like cold. It is the complete absence of heat." Student asked again, "Does darkness exist?"
Professor: Yes. Student: "You are again wrong sir. There is nothng like darkness. It isactually the complete absence of light.
According to physics we canstudy light and heat but not darkness and cold. Similarly sir, the evil does not exsist. Actually it is the absence of faith, love and true belief on GOD."
#That student was C.V RAMAN.
Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Rāman, FRS, (Tamil: சந்திரசேகர வெங்கட ராமன்), (7 November 1888 – 21 November 1970) was an Indian physicist whose work was influential in the growth of science in India. He was the recipient of the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1930 for the discovery that when light traverses a transparent material, some of the light that is deflected changes in wavelength. This phenomenon is now called Raman scattering and is the result of the Raman effect.
Raising of the Flag on Iwo Jima, taken by Joe Rosenthal in 1945
picture that changed the world would have to be the one taken during World War II during the Battle of Iwo Jima by photographer, Joe Rosenthal in 1945 on Mount Suribach. This photograph portrays six soldiers raising the American flag during the battle. It was awarded with a Pulitzer Prize and is one of the most notable in American History; many statues have been made as a re-creation of the photograph, such as the one in Virginia.
