New Delhi: Former England captain Michael Vaughan has tipped India and West Indies as teams who can win the Twenty20 World Cup which begins at Mirpur in Bangladesh on Sunday. The 2005 Ashes series winner also feels that teams like New Zealand and Pakistan have an outside chances.

"Any team from the following could win the T20 WC... India, Aussie, SA, West Indies, Sri Lanka and good outside chances in NZ and Pakistan," Vaughan tweeted.

"I am going for India or West Indies.. Both have power and plenty of good spin options. But it's always worth a tipple on Pakistan at WCs..," he said.

India won the title in 2007 while the West Indies go in Bangladesh as defending champions after winning the last edition of the event in 2012 in Sri Lanka. Pakistan had won the second edition in 2009 under the captaincy of Younis Khan and England, under Paul Collingwood, clinched their first major ICC trophy in 2010 in the Caribbean.
