No. The current rules are fine. What if a player is 18 years 364 days on the day he plays the first match. Should he be stopped from playing the remaining matches, just because he crossed 19 years?

The cut off date will be such that the players will be 19+ but will not be 20. For the associate nations, the age limit is more than 19
