Agreed that costed nearly 5 mins

Actually with so much time wasted earlier, Match Referee should have kept 5 overs match instead of 7 overs with Target somewhere 50-55.

Gill cannot be captain. Let him play just like Sachin and Kohli. He will be fulcrum of the Indian team in upcoming decade. He is just 22. We should not go the way South Africa did with Smith. 25-26 is ideal way to go for captaincy. Virat did well in away tours except Africa due to good bowling attack. Had it been more good bowlers we would have won 2014-15 tours as well.

Easwaran from Bengal should get look into. Agarwal has too much technical problems. Number 3 from latest WCU19 can be ideal replacement for Pujara. He should be groomed for test cricket only. Its time to look for next ten years.

Too early to say. Fitness is big concern. Nobody can come close to Kohli in terms of fitness. Sarfaraz, Shaw is good example of that.

Ruturaj, Rinku Singh are absolute trash shouldn't be allowed anywhere near national team. There are much better alternative options hopefully.
Should also keep an eye on this Bawa fellow from u19 winning squad. Shahrukh khan should be in our T20 team after this world cup along with umran Malik, Kuldeep sen.

So many good players discussed above but still some of the core issue not addressed in terms of T20 team. Middle order lefthand batsmen, wicket taking Spinner and 2 batsmen who can also bowl most of the talented batsmen named above like Gill, Shaw, Sarfaraz, Iyer, Yash, Padikkal, Jaiswal, unfortunately cannot contribute with bowl... We can't have more then 3 pure batsmen in playing XI along with 1 WK batsmen...
Rahul, Kohli, Pant/Samson, SKY are almost certain to play next T20 WC in WI.... Need to invest in Sunder, Deepak Hooda and more such players!!

Sarfaraz is much, much fitter than his RCB days

Yes. Shaw needs work though. Pant got fitter even though he had less talent, on the basis of fitness he came into national team much prior to Kishan and Sarfaraz Khan. One more good season for Sarfaraz and he should be in national team for sure. He can be good at number five in test matches.
