Huawei will reportedly begin discussions this summer with officials at Russia’s communications ministry in a bid to determine if it could use Russia’s Avrova (Aurora) operating system.

This is against the backdrop of reports that Huawei is already in an advanced stage of deploying its own HongMeng OS (ArkOS).

The HongMeng OS will be officially released at Huawei’s Developer Conference on August 9 in Dongguan. It will be primarily running on autonomous driving platforms, remote medical devices, and industrial control.

According to Global times Huawei will release it first Mobile Phone with HongMeng OS in Q4 2019. It is expected to be priced around 2,000 yuan (~Rs. 20,100) to attract more customers and developers in it's ecosystem.
