It is a wallet as per some reports. It's such a shame that we need to read articles to understand what it is. Google has failed in designing updated logos.

I GUESS, Google is paying a lot of money to their designers. To avoid the money paid going waste, they are changing logo from time to time for no worthy reason. Google the logo history of "Google" to understand that.
