Meanwhile, users can also ask “What song is this?” and other similar commands to have Assistant start listening for a song. There is a cool waveform pattern, with a song card showing up after the tune is recognized. Here users have option to find the song on YouTube, Play Music, or perform a search.

So far, this is live for me on two devices, including an original Google Pixel, set to the English version of Assistant.

Google Assistant, the tech giant's virtual personal assistant, is rolling out to Android tablets, after having launched on phones, smart speakers, Android Wear watches among others. Google Assistant will be available for all Android-powered tablets running Android 7.0 Nougat and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The personal assistant is also rolling out for phones running Android 5.0 Lollipop.

In Google blog they said it's already available for lollipop, an update will come which will install assistant app and you hv to call assistant by tapping that button. Pressing home button will not call assistant
 
Google Assistant’s ‘Hey Google’ hotword is now available on a number of Android smartphones. The search giant began testing the feature in October, but it was limited to a handful of people. According to a report from Android Police (via Reddit), the command is seeing a widespread rollout now. The devices that have received the update include the Moto G5S and Moto GS5 Plus, Nexus 5X, OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, as well as the Galaxy S6, S7 and S7 edge.
