Don't do anything, and don't transfer it to any other account. If it is by mistake and the person calls asking to return the faulty transaction, ask him to contact his bank and let them coordinate with your uncle's bank to reverse the transaction.
Should he wrote a letter to branch manager about this unknown deposits?
 
Suddenly 10000( 5000+5000) rupees deposit in my uncle's SBI account.
As per yono sbi this is bulk deposits. He didn't know its source, and it is suspicious.
What should he do?
This has also happend with me also couple of years back 5100 ruppees in SBI account statement showed bulk deposit my accountant guruji said I have to go to bank for further information anyways bulk deposit is also used to credit salary if they have time they should go to bank. I didn't go to bank because my merit prize was also supposed to be credited around that period of time I thought it's that only.
 
Finally after so much hassle today I opened Kotak 811 account, I was trying to get this account from 2023 end, the issue was that in my pincode 334001 there are total 3 Kotak branches all are near my home but this pincode still don't know why shows unserviceable, if anyone here wants to open 811 account note this biggest issue here is that if anything issue occurs during video KYC if it gets rejected then forget about 811 because then they will ask you to visit branch and branch will never open 811 and nothing will happen online if video KYC gets rejected for whatsoever reason so be careful here, luckily I had some contacts So didn't need to go to bank, got all information in call only, it seems they have some big targets to open 811 super account KYC, I opened Kotak 811 classic only and paid only 1k deposit still she was insisting me to get chequebook and debit card she was offering both for free but I didn't take it because even if it's free managing 811 super is quite headache, I have account in other Bank but I wanted to open in Kotak because of their good service and offers pre approved especially as @Prithi Deb bro also said that he got pre approved offer just after couple of months after opening 811 account, lastly I opened this account by communication address where I do not live should I change my address now or later, parcel is no issue because I have not orderd anything, my family member has account in Kotak so I knew that if I open account by using any address any branch I can change it later on, wierd thing here is that my family member has account in Kotak in 334001 pincode only when I check branches in his app it's shows all 3 branches there but not for new customers it's quite wierd don't know what's their policy, currently I have account in govt bank and everyone knows about service but no offers also plus laggy app (BOB), hope my experience helps members who want to open account in this bank.
