For Airtel and Vi, it gets appended and the date will extend. You can do this only with same plan. If you recharge a different plan, that will get activated immediately. Even with same plan, you can extend the plan only upto certain number of days. Not beyond that.
Jio is good in these terms, everything is shorted nothing to worry.

I just realised this today on my secondary Airtel number. I had been used to Jio all along and unlimited voice plans getting queued irrespective of denomination. But this time I did a 455 plan recharge when my 299 plan had 5 days validity remaining and I ended up losing 5 days validity of the 455 plan.
Then I read the T&C witch says for plans with fixed data quota for full duration of the plan will get queued only if it's the same denomination plan. And for plans with daily data quota any other denomination of daily data quota plan will also get queued.

Same happened to me, Jio ruin us!

Starting IoT journey with 5G an expensive mistake for enterprises; 4G more than sufficient: VoId

Link is Here.

From "India is NOT ready for 4G" to "IoT on 5G is expensive mistake", VoId proved again and again that they will NEVER ever learn, even from their own mistakes.

Of Course the Grapes (5G) are always Sour.

Which such a huge active subscriber base and many of them are using as secondary sim and to keep incoming active they are performing validity recharge as well. Still, they are struggling to pay to debt, implementation of 5G.

I have lost a lot of days with Airtel. Once I had the 455 plan active with some 60 days left. My uncle is a retailer and he transferred an 1 year plan 1799 I guess. This is same as 455 only. Yet, master minds at Airtel has built a logic to overwrite the 455 plan.

I lost 60 days. Such an unethical company.
