Message is only about collecting JioPhones, I think it means collect old JioPhones and return the security deposit amount.

Could be a tower related issue, has it been resolved by now?

Yes issue got resolved after 2 hours, not sure what happened.

And also there are no BSNL 3G and 4G signals from today morning and it is not resolved yet.

Jio tower is located near to my location, BSNL tower located bit away so both may not be related.

Jio might not increase the tariffs in near term due to rising churn rate
Jio may keep tariff hikes on hold as rising churn hits net user additions: Analysts - ET Telecom
ye to hona hi tha.

It was bounda to happen.

jio need lot of spectrum apart from what is expiring. also has to reach 500 million ( even at HLR of 70%) to increse tariff.

Otherwise think of cost per Gb has fallen from rs650-250-100-10-5 over period of 10 year, which is extactly proportional to data used by consumer

then with 5G , u need 5-10gb per day in 2024, and BHARATIYA user wont spend more than rs1-3 per GB. then where is question of incresing tariff.

If u didnt agree then tell me cost of PHOTOCOPY ( xerox) is almost constant at rs1/page
