Anyone know which bird this is? Google reverse search shows this as Green Pigeon. It came from somewhere to our staff's bike. It can't fly. So we brought it home. Fearing something might eat it.

Also what can I do in this situation?

Nothing is more frustrating than waiting after booking an appointment because websites are a sham and just for show. No one watches or honors online bookings. Guess we are a WhatsApp and an Insta DM country? Even people are lazy if there isn't an app for something. They won't use it. As if browser doesn't exist.

Update: There are similar birds outside our house. They can't fly. Thankfully, someone nice took it. Feels like someone deliberately left these. They are unable to fly. The one in the picture hadn't eaten anything yesterday. Tried fruits, rice and rotis. Today it ate rice and is trying to fly. But it doesn't speak or make any sound.

I've seen people getting animals like this and we normal people don't know how to feed them or treat them they d!e in most cases Consult an doctor ASAP.

Ps. One of my known used to have an Parrot that d!ed because of feeding wrong food.

Tried fruits, rice and rotis. Today it ate rice and is trying to fly. But it doesn't speak or make any sound.

Feed the bird Foxtail/kangni seeds. It is the basic food a bird can have and digest without any issues. Foxtail/Kangni seeds can be bought from the animal shop. I always start the diet of my parrots with these seeds.

There are similar birds outside our house. They can't fly. Thankfully, someone nice took it. Feels like someone deliberately left these. They are unable to fly.

That's good that someone took it but tell the man to take care and don't let the bird out in the wild, other birds might kill the bird because of territory issues.
