The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination which tests the understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering and Technology.
The last date to apply online is September 30. The score of GATE 2013 is used for admissions to various post-graduate programmes and for various jobs.
GATE 2013 will be conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board â GATE, Department of Higher Education, MHRD.
Applicants need to upload photograph and signature during online application.

The candidates who are pursuing the following courses are eligible to appear: B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch, MSc./M.A/M.C.A (equivalent), Int. M.E/M.Tech or D.D (after 10+2 or Diploma), Int.
