I love biryani.

And south Tamilnadu, near Kanyakumari, Thirunelveli is famous for parotas. The side dish is called chaalna. It prepare by mutton bones. What a taste that.....

Never heard of any South Indian non veg dishes. It's always Dosa, Idli, Sambar, Vada etc.

Ah in those terms you need to come to South India to experience non veg dishes like "porotta"-chicken/beef curry
