Congrats :clap:hs:win;) .. But batting is the still concern and if the same team in England means 5-0 wash out confirm for us :s:s:nj ..

Kohli hasn't played the same eleven in 2 consecutive matches so far.He will make necessary changes to the team while travelling abroad.Don't just blindly say India will lose 5-0 in England just because of failure of batsmen in home conditions.Bowlers will have to stand up overseas more than the batsmen. After all you have to take 20 wickets to win test matches.

Rahane is currently going through a bad patch, which he will correct soon.

Stats highlights from India's win in Mohali:

17 Test matches for India at home since their last defeat, in December 2012. They have won 14 and drawn three out of these 17. Their only longer run has been a 20-game unbeaten streak between January 1977 and January 1980.

16 This is the second-longest unbeaten run for India in Tests. Their last defeat came against Sri Lanka in August 2015. The went unbeaten in 17 Tests between September 1985 and March 1987.

12 Since losing the inaugural Test here in 1994 against West Indies, India have had a run of 12 unbeaten Tests at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. The only other venue where they've had a longer run is at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai - where they were unbeaten in 13 Tests between December 1948 and March 1965.

5 This was the fifth instance of India beating England in consecutive Test matches and only the first time they've achieved the feat since their 3-0 win at home in 1992/93 .

5.11 Run rate for India in their fourth innings chase of 103 - the highest for them while successfully chasing a 100-plus target in the final innings. The previous highest was 5.06 against Zimbabwe in Delhi in 2000 .

12y 45d Time since Parthiv Patel last scored a Test fifty for India before his 67 today - the longest gap between two fifties in terms of time for India. This distinction was previously held by Lala Amarnath who had a 11years & 190days break (1934 to 1946) between two half-centuries.

109 runs in this Test is Parthiv's highest aggregate in a Test match, surpassing the 74 he made against West Indies in Kolkata more than 14 years ago. 67* is his fifth fifty and second highest individual score after 69 in Rawalpindi in 2004.

2 Haseeb Hameed became the fourth teenager among visiting teams to score two or more fifties in India. The others to do it are Hanif Mohammad (3), Mushtaq Mohammad (2) and Kraig Brathwaite (2).

9 Joe Root has now scored at least one fifty (or more) in each of his nine Tests against India. He scored 78 in the second innings which was his sixth fifty against India, in addition to his three centuries.

Kudos to Haseeb played brilliantly :ohya

I agree he played a good innings, but not brilliant. If he was so good and courageous, why didn't he open the batting? He left Bairstow and Stokes, their main players to face India's spin web very early and they got out yesterday.
