Hameed ruled out of India series with finger injury

Haseeb Hameed, the England opener, has been ruled out of the remainder of the Test series against India with a finger injury. The youngster, who impressed in his first two Tests, injured his little finger after being hit by a Umesh Yadav delivery in the first innings of the Mohali Test. He will now fly back home for treatment, confirmed England captain, Alastair Cook.

'Hameed has to go home unfortunately and put a plate in his hand', said Cook.
