I can give you a better example; in 2007 T20 wc final Gautham Gambhir's 70+ runs helped India to set a decent total all the big hitters failed in this match. As per my knowledge Gambhir is not a big hitter...:)

Perfect :) ..

At least in today's match, Root's slow scoring in Mishra's last over put lot of pressure on Morgan. Eventually he got out in the next over trying to hit a six. That started the collapse! So Root plays the main part in England's loss today apart from some ridiculous batting by England (As per Nasser on air).

Now any poms will complaint abt Umpire decision on Rahul dismissal in No ball if you are in Neutral :huh:wall:wall:angry ..

Stats highlights from the Bangalore T20I:

6 for 25 by Chahal is the third best figures in T20Is for any bowler. The top two belong to Sri Lanka's Ajantha Mendis who took 6 for 8 against Zimbabwe in Hambantota in 2012 and 6 for 16 against Australia in Pallekele in 2011.

Two better figures for an Indian bowler in 20-over cricket than Chahal's 6 for 25. Services' Deepak Punia took six for 14 against Haryana in Delhi in 2015 and Baroda's Swapnil Singh took 6 for 19 against Saurashtra in Pune in 2015. The previous best figures by an Indian bowler in T20Is was 4 for 8 by R Ashwin against Sri Lanka in Vizag last year.

Eight runs for which England lost their last eight wickets is the worst eight-wicket collapse at any stage for a team in T20Is. The previous worst was when Bangladesh collapsed from 85 for two to 101 all out against Pakistan in Karachi in 2008. There has been just one bigger eight-wicket collapse in cricket across formats - New Zealand lost their last eight for just five runs against Australia in Wellington in the Post-War Test in 1946.

5 ducks in the England innings is the most for them in a T20I. They have never had an instance of more than two ducks in a T20I innings. Overall, it is the joint third most in an innings after six ducks each by Kenya against New Zealand in Durban in 2007 and Zimbabwe against West Indies in Port of Spain in 2010.

At 19 years & 120 days, Rishabh Pant became the youngest ever to make his T20I debut for India. The previous youngest was Ishant Sharma who was 19 years & 152 days old on his debut against Australia exactly the same day in 2008.

252 sixes hit by Suresh Raina in 20-over cricket. He became the second Indian and ninth player overall to reach the milestone. Rohit Sharma was the first Indian player to reach the landmark and currently has 254 sixes.

38 innings since Raina scored his last fifty in T20 Internationals - 72* against Zimbabwe in Harare in June 2010. He had four fifties in his first 17 innings till then. It was also his highest score in India going past 39 against England in Kolkata in 2011.

66 innings taken by MS Dhoni to score his maiden fifty in T20Is. His previous highest was an unbeaten 48 against Australia at the SCG in 2012. The next most number of innings by any player to his maiden fifty was 43 by Gary Wilson who scored an unbeaten 65 against Scotland in Dubai in the Desert T20 Challenge a couple of weeks ago.

11 innings since Hardik Pandya reached double figures in 20-over cricket. The last time before today he reached double figures in T20Is was also in this venue - 15 against Bangladesh last year in the World Twenty 20. His scores in the meantime read 9, 9, 2, 2, 2*, 2* 4, 7, 7, 9 and 2.

75 - Winning margin of India, the second highest for them in terms of runs in a T20I after the 90-run win against the same opposition at Colombo (RPS) in the T20 WC in 2012. It is the joint highest in T20I on Indian soil alongside the 75-run win by New Zealand against Bangladesh in Kolkata in 2016.

1 - This is India's first series win against England in a T20I series. While England won three - all margins of 1-0 - at home and away in 2011 and at home in 2014, the one in India in 2012 ended in a 1-1 draw.

FYI, the teams cannot win all the matches only with big hitters. A well balanced batting section need technical players as well as big hitters...:k I can give you a better example; in 2007 T20 wc final Gautham Gambhir's 70+ runs helped India to set a decent total all the big hitters failed in this match. But bro i told you , in that high scoring match:k
