England and Australia will contest the first-ever Women's Day-Night Ashes Test match in Sydney later this year as part of the 2017 Women's Ashes Series.

The schedule for the multi-format series, which begins on October 22, was announced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Cricket Australia today and will feature three One-Day Internationals, one Test match and three Twenty20 Internationals, with the team that accumulates the most points across the series to be crowned the winner of the Ashes. The points system awards teams two points for an ODI or T20 win and four points for victory in the four-day Test match.
