DataWind launches 7-inch tablet PC in India at Rs 5,999

DataWind has introduced a new tablet for the Indian market and gave it the unimaginative monicker of Tablet PC i3G7 which will be available for a price of Rs 5,999. The device will be available with gadgets360.

In terms of specifications, the device will feature a 7-inch display along with a 1.2 GHz Intel Quad Core X3 64-bit processor. The device includes an internal storage of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. Running Android Lollipop 5.1, the device includes connectivity features such as WiFi, Bluetooth and microUSB connectivity.

The company claims that the device will offer talk-talktime of up to 4 hours and a standby time of up to 5 days. Other features include HD playback and DataWind’s proprietary web delivery technology. The tablet also supports 3G SIM cards.
