The fact that they are launching Google TV officially in India means that even the Android TVs which have got the Google tv like interface update (Mi and Redmi TVs got this update few months back) will get deeper integration of Indian OTT apps like Sony LIV, Zee 5, Voot etc in the discover section, which currently supports only Disney+ Hotstar and Amazon prime video among a handful other apps.

For the Google TV like Android TV launcher there is 'Home' instead of 'For you' the 'Movies and Shows' sections are clubbed under 'Discover' Apps is separate just like in Google TV and 'Library' tab is not there.

Since it just launched, it's available at full price.

Soon they with reveal the actual price. Like:
₹6,399 ₹x,xxx

It's available for buying now buddy.. I don't see them dropping the price in the future unless an upgrade comes from them... If they wanted to do anything, they would have done by now... May be they will drop a ₹500 here and der for offers but not anything drastic.... They are selling currently at 50% premium compared to the price in USA.

I definitely don't think it's worth it, Especially, with Fire Stick 4k going under 3K during the sale and many TV brands adopting the Google TV now as well, it has lost its speciality it had when it was launched in the USA...
