BSNL plans a master plan for 200Gbps Super Highway optical fiber network in Assam

A master plan will be provided for 200 Gbps Super Highway, the state-of-the-art optical fiber cable to connect Guwahati to several places parallely during this financial year. An intermediate plan was also in place to provide incremental growth broadband services to BSNL customers, specially to public utility services such as SBI and other government and non government organizations catering to the needs of the people, BSNL Chief General Manager M K Seth today said.

The BSNL Assam circle has achieved the distinction of being number one in the country to provide high speed bandwidth state-of-the-art technology to all the 257 SBI branches in the state, the CGM said. People can now avail of faster ATM and other banking services in both urban and rural areas completing their transactions quickly, besides in self passport printing kiosks, internet banking kiosk and in cash deposit facilities.

He said in militancy-affected areas such as Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao districts, a detailed coverage plan was in the offing for installation of Base Transceiver Station (BTS) with surveillance and OFC laying has already started for it.

As part of its corporate responsibility, ten successful students of government-run Guwahati Blind High School and ten toppers of High School and Higher Secondary Examinations in the state will be honored and provide them special training to decide on their future education.

10-12 minutes in 200 GBPS that too for 2 GB :skd :no it should be 0.10 seconds :hehe :d

as we will get
