@KGF @abhishekarora Guys pls you both tell me what is the installation charge for bsnl ftth in your areas?
And what is the brand & model numbers of your ONTs?
Also tell me what is the one time security deposit of WiFi ONT and it's monthly rent if taken on rental basis from bsnl exchange?
Hi,

In my area, the installation charge is same as the plan you opt for. [You can either say installation charge or security deposit]. In my case it was 777₹
Syrotech is the ONT maker and SY-GPON-1110-WDONT model no which cost me around 1900₹. It is a 2.4 GHz modem which i ll be upgrading to 5 GHz soon. As far as I know the monthly rent for a modem was ₹50 earlier but not sure currently.

Ok there is no monthly charges when you pay 2500rs for modem from the outsourced local people. They were confused. Don't rent it if BSNL is giving u directly for no charges. Then there would be either 90 or 200rs charges every month as rent. When you buy directly for 2.5k there are no additional charges and you would own the modem. But confirm it with them. They are confusing us a lot.
Total cost along with modem is 2500rs. Deposit is one month plan charges. No installation charges extra.
Still not applied. I'm on BSNL ADSL now where BSNL's own guys come and repair any problem. They are quick to respond and have been nice. I don't know if the FTTH guy would give the same kind of service because he has taken every area for 20-25kms here in Bengaluru.

@abhishekarora @KGF Guys, But in bsnl website Rs250 is mentioned as installation charge which does include in the bsnl first bill. Same thing bsnl customer care told me also. But you guys are saying that there is no installation charge.
So abhishek Have you checked your first month bill for Rs250 as installation charge?
Also tell me when you had installed bsnl ftth connection?
