*** Update ***

VoLte got activated on my BSNL number after I complained to pgrms.bsnl.co.in. Now it’s not falling back to 2G-3G. Calls are crystal clear.

Also I find some websites which loads slow in jio loads faster in BSNL 4G internet.

So far so good. Now I’m conjecturing about porting my main jio number to BSNL.

Some testing still needs to be done about coverage details to most of the places I visit. After that I shall surely give a serious thought about porting my 7 yrs old main jio number.

So much fuss about tariff hike by pvt telcos.

In my area bsnl using band 700 and 2100 for 4G. Is it Good?
Use the above method to activate VoLte. How much is the speed are you getting and your location?

BSNL 4G test spectrum validity in 2100 MHz band in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir and North East as well as 1800 MHz in Delhi and 850 MHz in Rajasthan all extended to 3rd July 2025. This indicates that the Pan India 4G rollout may be complete by the 3rd-4th of July and the spectrum may be officially allotted to BSNL in these bands in these circles.
The 700 MHz test spectrum in 9 circles is valid until 31st March 2025, and it may also be extended to 3rd July.
