State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has awarded a Rs 550-crore contract to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for setting up 6,000 4G sites across India, Financial Express reported.
The telecom PSU plans to install about 1.12 lakh sites across the country for rolling out its fourth-generation network services, telecom minister Ashwini Vaishnaw told the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.

Article also suggest that by August 2022 we might see BSNL 5G. Really hoping for the big from BSNL this time. They are already having 10.24% market share.

it is now confirm that 15th august, Mr. modi will launch 4g/+5g networks of bsnl

folks,
this govt want bsnl dead, but using halal.
slowly it is getting killed.

1. remove lifetime (oct, nov 2021)
2. reduce validity (jan,feb 2022)
3. remove per sec plan (apr 2022)

now Rs 107 per min plan, 50 days validity.

after 1-2 month, validity 30 day.

after 1-2 month, Rs 150, 30 day.

Bapun bahi, please understand.

Delyed is normal (mean on track)in any PSU, extreme delayed is delayed, and very extreme delayed, means corrusption unfulfilled.

Completed ontime means achivements
and completed before timeline means rewards.

So 4G in January and 5G i August is normal for customers' like me.

Only concerned is BSNL and Cdot Setup should perform at least average with indigenous technology stack when they a launch ,2022/2023/2024.
