in my area the BSNL tower was unstable (means used to be dead for most of the times since past few years), but from this week it is completely stable (though still 2G) without a single minute of outage!
I used to complain a lot, but they never cared, now I think something is happening, and probably 3G or maybe 4G will be launched in my area. I get over 1mB/s download speed at a location nearby my village where BSNL has 3G.

BSNL 4G going to start in few adjacent area of Kolkata from next friday.
Area list:
Uluberia, Gangarampur, Sankrail, ankurhati, domjur, kulgachia, singur, dankuni, gobra,amtala,julpia, bibirhat, sirakol, nodakhali,bishnupur,patharberia and Budgebudge.
4G services will be given by old 3G tower and accessories. 3G will be stop in thar circle from friday. 2G will exist there.

This means, BSNL is NOT going to launch even 4G by Aug15, saying "blah blah blah, 5G errors.. blah blah blah ecosystem is not well and need vaccination"

No it means that the 4G they will launch can be easily upgraded to 5G with some softwareware teawks. No additional hardware will be required.
