Brazil will host the next edition of the Copa America in 2019, the head of the South American governing body Conmebol has said.
Conmebol president Alejandro Dominguez made the announcement on the organisation's website on Tuesday.
It will be the fifth time Brazil has hosted the continental championship, which has recently featured some guest sides from outside of South America.
Brazil won the 1919, 1922, 1949 and 1989 editions it hosted.
The United States, exceptionally,. is currently hosting the Copa Centenario -- the centenary edition of the competition first held in 1916 in Buenos Aires, won by Uruguay.
