Bought a Redmi Note 3

Even I purchased it during sale on flipkart at 10999 +10% off on SBI card. It's a good phone. Even I am using nova launcher prime. As said, cameras are not so good.
Only issue: I dont get notifications from apps at all.

It's because of aggressive battery and ram management of MIUI. You need to add the apps from which you need notifications to exception list.

To do this,

1. Open the desired app and click on the recent apps button, swipe down on the app window and click on lock button.
2. Go to Settings - battery and performance - manage apps battery usage - choose apps - click on the app that you want and select no restrictions.

MIUI is the most popular custom ROM because of things like this. It runs smooth and is easy on battery.

You can turn the battery saver off completely if you don't want it.

Go to Settings - battery and performance - manage app's battery usage and click off.

Battery on this phone is amazing bro. I'm still having 27% left after my normal usage. By this time I would have charged my G4 plus at least twice. Xiaomi has done excellent job there.

Xiaomi devices battery back ups are awesome. Redmi note 3 has killer battery surely.
