Hey guys,
We bought a new AC from a local dealer for our child bedroom on Saturday. It was installed yesterday. Below are the details.
Model: LLOYD LS13AI
Type: 1 Ton Inverter
Price: 30000 including stabilizer
Installation Charges: 1200+600 (Stand)
Our room size is 9x13 and we stay at 5th floor. There's false ceiling in the room. The height of the room is 10ft.
Installation: I have to say it was tough to install the outdoor unit. Guy spent almost 4 hours at my home to complete the installation. This is definitely a risky job to take up. No major issues much to our delight.
Cooling Time: We have another 1.5 ton AC which is non inverter in the master bedroom. I feel that cools a little faster. This could be because there's no direct sunlight during the day time in that room from the west side. Coming to this AC, cooling is a little slower. However, once it reaches the set temperature it's chilling and we had to increase the temp and totally turn off after sometime. It's worth noting that the temperatures here are soaring!
Noise: There's almost zero noise indoor, I didn't notice the outdoor. I think it should be similar.
Operation and Remote: It's pretty basic and there are not many options to fiddle with. I like it because anyone can easily operate it.
Power consumption: It's having 3.99 ISEER. So, need to see how much power bill I get. I plan to use it at least 12-14 hours a day.
Finally, I think it was a good buy considering the price and features.
Few pics below.
Thanks!!
