.Patna, Jul 3 (PTI) An FIR was lodged today after a BJP MLA claimed receiving a call from an unidentified person threatening to kill him.
"An unidentified person made a call from the cell phone number - 9501262685 - on my mobile last night and used abusive language, saying that I will be eliminated," Vinod Singh said.
The BJP MLA said he has lodged a written complaint at Shastri Nagar police station in this connection.
Singh represents Pranpur Assembly constituency in Katihar district.
Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Alok Kumar said the threat call was made from a number outside Bihar and an investigation was underway in the matter.
