The number of participants in the online bidding process for the Global Consolidated Rights package was brought down from six to three - Sony Pictures Network India, Star India Pvt Ltd and Reliance Jio - after BCCI's legal team carried out technical and feasibility checks ahead of the e-auction. The others who stood eliminated from contesting for the GCR package, lost out for not having both television as well as digital media presence at the time of the BCCI inspection.

I am wondering who is not a looter ?
Exactly that's why im asking why supporting 1 & opposing other though all are lopter know ?? But supporting broadcaster(STAR) & opposing AVoID in telecom is ur stand :unsure:
DTH networks are not saints. They got paid by FTA channels for carrying channels. Still they charge for those channels. Also Quality comes at a price.
Then why still dth networks in loss ?? One wrong can't be right for another wrong

May be now in profit stage but in 2013 or 2014 as i was guest here read they working hard to get profit
When you invest in capital expenditure you are bound to make loss but once that period is gone it will rain money and thus profit. That' how business works, isn't it ? So it's time to update knowledge with current data ;)
