Is this a good season to host day-night match in Eastern parts?
It will be winter and sun will set around 5pm.

one thing is good in winter season d/n test is swing of the ball compared to summer in summer under light ball start swinging extreamely ( when matches played in Australia in summer) but no matches of d/n test played in winter so it's good to know how this pink ball gonna behave in winter

Probably yes bro as India usually play their home season in these months only and what better place than Eden gardens to host first ever day night test of Indian cricket
I do support Eden Gardens hosting the first day-night match, but are they timing the match well?
Wouldn't it be better to have our day-night test in summer when daylight remains until 6:30 and dew will be less?

Yes i agree with you but in Summer we have IPL so in that time not possible in India.

Indian players are already complaining about the quality of SG red ball.
Don't think they have played or seen the pink ball enough.
Most of our teams may not have even played with the pink ball.

We only know about the quality only after playing the game so bros put all the negative thoughts aside and hope for the match

And regarding dew most of the grounds have dew during winter season in India and in summer we had lot of humidity so imo best time to play day night test is month of Oct and Nov as wickets are fresh compared to wickets in month of Feb or march and dew is also less comparatively in month of Dec and Jan
