7 & 8th Spot batsman should give atleast 50 runs when batting collapses in middle order in any of WC matches, or else Defeat is on cards in crunch games.

His role is not so clear. He should have persisted with number six. Not number 4 in Australia series earlier this year. Similar is the case with Iyer. So his place is in doubt despite of everything he has performed till now. And we need six bowlers as noone in top four can bowl anymore. Hopefully, things will change post WC. Against Australia we try new players. Today's March we lost due to Virat, Iyer, Sunder playing so many dot balls. Hopefully this is ironed out in practice matches.



I hope to see totally new squad post WC except Gill and Pandya.
