Indirectly politics happened and he got captaincy. Won't last beyond 2023 WC.
But the only problem is apart from Bumrah and Samson there are no other reliable options (not counting KL, sorry). We should pray that Pant becomes more mature by the time Rohit is axed from captaincy...
