US models have all 5G bands that Indian bands have + more.

Motorola and Apple are truly global phones I believe.

I doubt that will be the case with apple devices imported into India cause apple is known for maintaining a global standard, this 5G update thing for apple devices is just apples turning on 5G on the modem via software update which was disabled to avoid any kind of issue with the user experience due to 5G which was not even available in india in during the actual beta testing in International Markets

But Apple seeds different updates for each operator in US for unlocked models. Carrier locked models are already certified out of the box.
