With Ganesh Chathurthi just around the corner, the famous shrine in Mumbai, Siddhi Vinayak Temple has decided to do something different to welcome the forthcoming festive season. Amitabh Bachchan has recently recorded the aarti for the temple and a recording of the same will be played within the premises.

Amitabh Bachchan recently recorded the same at Aadesh Shrivastav's studio and the music is composed by Rohan-Vinayak. Further, we also hear that Shoojit Sircar will be recording the video and asserting the same, the megastar added that they will be shooting only a portion within the temple since it wouldn't be possible to shoot there for a long period of time. Ravi Jadhav, deputy executive officer of Siddhi Vinayak Temple too confirmed that they have indeed asked Mr. Bachchan to sing the aarti. Excited about being a part of this devotional endeavor, Amitabh stated that he will be making the recorded CD of his voice as an offering to the temple. He also affirmed that the aarti will be available on the internet.

As far as the timing for the aarti is concerned, Amitabh Bachchan mentioned that it will be temple authorities who will take a call on when to play it. On the Bollywood front, the veteran actor is gearing up to play the role of a lawyer in the upcoming crime drama Pink
