Not necessary. Earlier my BSNL number was not registered with adtv & I was able to use airtel tv app with it without any issue.

By manually i meant, transferring apk file from phone which received the update from play store. Riddhiman bro here got it for example.

I also have voda number which is register to dth but i cant watch airtel tv whenever i click on any section its ask switch to airtel.
