I think this is to offset the ₹100 price difference. I doubt Jio would remove it considering their stance on IUC. Furthermore, IUC impacts Jio more than anyone else as the traffic is asymmetric and Jio has to shell out more for the IUC.
Remember that when it comes to IUC, VF and Airtel are the gainers and Jio are the losers. It's not easy for Jio to scrap IUC as they are 4G only network whereas other 2 have a huge subscriber base of 2G customers who bring them the IUC revenue.
Same benefit on Jio at 555, by paying 43 extra for 3 months you are getting true unlimited calls. Everyone increased rates but Airtel became first to remove IUC after this but still some people are not really appreciating this step
