Thinking to port out my Airtel number to Jio. Since airtel would be making Payments bank account if i link Aadhaar and i don't need a Payments bank account with them for no reason.

I will be waiting till they start calling me regarding number deactivation, i guess deadline is till year end - so enough time to stay.

I just care about call drops issue on Jio. Other than that, internet speed is better than Airtel 4G.

Jio will also open a payment bank account for you when you submit Aadhaar.

Then what should i do bro?

Jio won't open payment bank account if you migrate now. They have not started their operations yet. And they can't open accounts with retrospective KYC. So, it won't be an issue. Also, I don't think they will do such mischieves like Airtel (But no one can tell). For now it is not a problem.

And yes, there is some issue with Jio calling. Sometimes I don't recieve call even if I am in range & have faced few drops. I don't know whether the issue is on Jio's side or something fishy tactics going on by others. I hope Jio sorts out all such issues ASAP. Nowadays network congestion has reduced, almost negligible.

^ Thanks bro. It helped me to get some answers. Have you ported your main number into Jio?
