I dont feel it like bank  :shy :shy ..It's more like wallet just adding bank at the end and offering virtual debit card

There is one fundamental difference. You will get interest on your money in payment bank like airtel but in wallet like freecharge or Mobikwik or Amazon pay you cannot earn interest.

Also wallet balance is not interoperable, I mean you cannot use freecharge with Amazon pay balance but bank balance is interoperable.

But they are opening it without the customer's permission which is wrong and due to same reason I am not linking my mobile numbers with adhaar card:dodgy

What's wrong in it as long as customers are not paying anything?

Bro I know that they are not charging anything but without their customers permission they shouldn't open it as I think:shy

Well.. looks like it's the retailers doing all the golmal for some actual maal..

as the tweets show, the user has been made to authenticate twice... 1st for the eKYC of SIM cards and then for the payments bank..

So innocent customers are getting fleeced by the retailers without their knowledge!

So i'd suggest, all those who are going to the store for eKYC, ask them to show u their screen on Laptop/tablet on what is being done so that you can not fall into their trap...

They are not the first one and will not be the last one also. For example Jio also did it when you took Jio SIM, Jio also opened a Jio Money account without your permission. There are many more examples also. And regulators are also not prohibiting it as there are core of people in India are without bank account so if they gets a bank account then Govt can transfer money directly to them.

And now this scenario ---
This can be easily challenged in court by any Indian Citizen as the decision to make aadhaar mandatory is still pending in the Supreme Court.

May be in future after SC make Aadhaar as mandatory for all schemes, this cannot be challenged. But as of now this decision can be challenged.
In my personal opinion using aadhaar is for various scenarios is good.

Anyone can challenge any order in court but we should not forget that it is not the supreme court, it's the the parliament who makes law and Court just follow the law what Parliament passed. So if you have majority in Parliament you make make law on anything and court is bound to follow it. Take example of Shah Bano case 1985 in which Supreme court passed order in favour of Shah Bano but then Congress government, with its absolute majority pass the Muslim Women Act, 1986 which overturned of the Supreme Court order  ;)

i said it can be challenged. didn't said it can be revoked.

once it's challenged, the case will go on for years in India.. as the matter is in court, govt can't take decision on it.
So eventually it will take years to implement.

*For all these somebody should challenge this in Supreme Court or at least in State High Courts.

And yes, as you said Parliament has the right to overturn or dilute any judgment by 'amending' the law which was challenged and held to be unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. But this practice is neither encouraged nor appreciated unless there is reasonable and urgent ground to do so.
