I have noticed that Airtel iptv charges NCF of Rs.91/- same as fiber+DTH black plan. I have removed Airtel offered regional curated pack (Telugu ultimate HD) of Rs.350/- and selected a la carte channels worth Rs.209/-, but plan cost shows Rs.301/-. So Airtel charged NCF for its iptv like DTH.

NCF can be charged by DPO as TRAI NTO in cable/dth/iptv, so Airtel never missed this loop hole ;)

I have removed and selected a la carte channels from TRAI channel selector app
The Black IPTV plan comes with Rs. 350 worth of free channels. Does it mean a user can decide which channels to subscribe using these Rs 350 and not pay anything extra? Suppose, one adds channels worth Rs. 500, so the payment would be 500-350=Rs 150 only. Have I understood it correctly?

If they want to charge NCF for IPTV then the data usage shouldn't be deducted from the 3.3 TB FUP quota. Otherwise it becomes a double charge. Why would someone prefer IPTV over DTH then? If both have the same plans and channel prices and same NCF but DTH doesn't affect your broadband bandwidth or usage quota.

Preferred iptv due to dish fixing issues in our apartment, I have surprised when Airtel charges NCF in iptv same as DTH, we can accommodate iptv in 3.3 TB FUP, but it will be tough task in Airfiber with 1 TB FUP..
