In AP circle, BSNL has Rs.36 recharge as minimum for 30 days without talktime! Again we need to recharge min.Rs.30/- top-up for talktime. So, total will be Rs.66/- per month.

No. They deducted 23rs from my main balance account yesterday (calcutta circle).. Previously i was getting full-time when i recharged 100rs. Now only 81rs with no validity..
 
For Airtel if we don't do the minimum recharge and if there is no main balance,how long the mobile number will be maintained?

Your outgoing calling will be completely stopped and you will continue to receive incoming calls for 1 week

3 months. Then you will lose your number. Telcos can reuse that number for other customers after 6 months..

They can but they won't.
As long as Airtel keeps sending u those messages to recharge, the number will never be deactivated.
BSNL will deactivate right on time though.

Yes when i had idea connection, i didn't recharge Rs 35 because i didn't want to use that number anymore. But they gave me additional 2 months before its permanently deactivate. But now they don't care about even 49 rupees customers.
