People don't even have 23/24 rupees to extend their validity but they can easily spend 149/month...How funny is that... :cautious:

I have SIMs from AirTel, Vodafone,Jio & also BSNL...AirTel is still the number one network in India in terms of data speed & connectivity...I get more than 65 Mbps from AirTel at my place in Kolkata where Voda gives me about 30-40 Mbps, BSNL is 3g but still gives about 2-10 Mbps & Jio the lord gives me speed in kbps...

I stopped using Jio because of too much call disconnects, pathetic data speeds & costly monthly rental plans...Infact whenever I get calls from several parts of the country & there are call issues, I get to know instantly that, it has got to be a Jio number & thanks to Truecaller, I can see that it's true everytime...Also many people always complain about the low speeds of Jio like I see online on various places...AirTel & Vodafone have much less call/data related problems than Jio...

VoLTE maybe is great for some people but being able to provide voice calls only in the 4G covered area is a huge drawback for Jio...

AirTel worked for me even in the train's upper-birth, in very high altitudes & also in the jungles where Jio didn't have any 4G tower rendering the number useless...In my life, I have never seen a single place where I didn't have any kind of network connectivity on AirTel...

Nothing can replace the flexibility of having the option of getting calls on 2G or 3G when the 4G signal is not present...

I have 2FA activated on many sites including Gmail, Facebook, eBay & Amazon...If for example, I am in a remote place where there is no 4G tower by Jio, I won't even get an OTP for these sites where I have activated 2FA...I know there are authentication apps like Google Authenticator but nothing beats the convenience of OTPs...

Most good things in life are not FREE...India mein "free" word sunte hi logo ka dimaag kaam karna bandh kar deta hain...:cautious:
I got horrible speed on Airtel and get bad audio on calls...for me jio and BSNL works. Jio gives me 15mbps all the time.

Email to your nodal office...I rarely have had problems with them but whenever I contacted their top support i.e the nodal officer & their appellate, they resolved all of my issues within max 24 hours...

If you don't have those email addresses, you can let me know which city you are from so that I can send you the email ids according to that...Hope your issues get resolved soon...Maybe additional tower is needed in your location...

Well i am using airtel since last 10 years. And it's good for me. Lots of memories, even i got some free 3G data for 4 months due to their technical errors. and i still love it. They have shutdown 3G network in kolkata so i get 2G calls only with 4G data. My device Lenovo P2 doesn't support VoLTE except from Jio. But I can't spend Rs 149 every month because i have broadband. So 23 per month is okay for me.

Could please share nodal team address for Chennai/TN?

Could please share nodal team address for Chennai/TN?
Contact details for Chennai...

If the location is nearby or you think you can travel to that location, you can visit them physically at the below address...

Most of the times, only emails are sufficient...

Send an email to [email protected] keeping [email protected] in CC...You will get a reply from either of the email address within 48 business hours...I mostly get replies within 24 hours if it's a business day...Make sure you clearly show your frustration in the first email itself & provide detailed info regarding the service issues you are facing in your area...Long email is not a problem...Just make sure that you are explaining them in detail & providing enough info about all your problems regrading their service...Don't forget to include your number in the first email...They may also call you...I get both call & email replies form them to make sure that the issue is resolved...

Most of the times phone support people won't be able to solve your network related issues because they have very limited authority or access to the system but when you email the appellate & Nodal Office, they won't take your issues lightly & they do have accsss to everything needed to solve your issues...Now planting a tower may need much time if that is required...Other than that, these issues mostly get resolved quicker by sending email to them...Most people are not aware of these two teams of the companies & they think that by calling phone CC, their issues will get resolved but that is not the reality...

Don't call the number below...They only reply via email & mostly in Nodal offices, there will be no-one to attend your call as it's not a personal mobile number of anyone but a Nodal Office local number with automated call replies...

Best wishes... :)

I'm from Kolkata too & we have 5 AirTel numbers in the family...I personally am using my main number since like ages from 2000....I never had those suddenly balance got deducted issues but i had some Hellotunes subscriptions issues & as soon as I contacted their Nodal & Appellate team by email, they called from a high-Priority number (Shown on my Truecaller app at the top) & instantly refunded everything I lost in unsuccessful recharges or mistakenly deducted hellotunes charges...

I also won't spend 149/month for that crap network which can't even provide 10 Mbps speed in 4G lol...I have a high-end phone but since I imported that from Singapore, there is no VoLTE in the phone but I never felt that it's needed because even after shutting down the 3G services in Kolkata, I never had any problem receiving any call & the 4G to 2G conversion always been instant...Plus already have a 80 Mbps Fiber Optic broadband at home & when I am outside or travelling, I never needed like 4-6 gbs of daily data....Some of these people download movies from torrents on their phones using their daily data balance & wait for the next day to download another movie when the daily data quota resets again...:ROFLMAO::

For me the daily 1.4 GB data in my 399 plan for 84 days is more than sufficient...Plus I'm a Gold AirTel customer too, so I get another 50 rupees discount on that 399...Wynk Music, AirTel TV app everything is free...Now Hellotunes is also free...

I'm with them since 19 years now so yes lotssssss of memories with them too...And 99% of them are positive only... :)

They refunded me 280 rupees TWICE in the main account which I lost because of the mistakenly cancelled Hellotunes Advance rental Yearly Plan...Not many company would do that... :)

Some Jio fans will react HAHA on the comments but that's fine...:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Quality matters, not Quantity...At-least for me... :)

Already done that but now I have ported from Airtel to Jio. When I first sent porting request Airtel people called and I explained my problem but they did nothing instead they said to give me data offer and in return I said what the hell I will do with the offer if you can't provide me enough speed to use that data.

The people who handles the porting request don't have any more power than the phone CC guys...I am talking about the Appellate & the Nodal Office here...In any company (not only AirTel), they reside at the top of the customer support with access to everything related to your account...I had to contact these teams (AirTel, DishTV & a bank's nodal office too regarding a Credit card problem) rarely but my issues do get resolved everytime & I do get complex issues many times which can never be solved by talking to a phone support person...

Try porting your Jio number to AirTel or any other operator...All of them will give you the false promises too so that you don't leave their network...This is not only with AirTel...No company would want to lose their customers & they will try to assure you that everything will get fixed while in-fact they have no authority to fix anything other than accepting your porting request...

P.S I ported a Jio sim to BSNL so that I can recharge only once & still the validity remains for 6 months & the DND doesn't work in BSNL...I have calle atleast 20 times to BSNL CC people & even on their site, it shows that full DND is activated, but I still get crap scam/spam messages which I used to get when I was in Jio...Now I will have to contact BSNL's nodal office too for the full DND block...
