You will get 15 days incoming after expiry of your validity date.
So recharge once only you end your current pack.

Suppose if you have more than 23 rs in your regular a/c balance, they will cut immediately on the day of expiry rs 23. If you don't have sufficient balance you are safe. This is the way they are cheating customers

Can someone tell me the cheapest pack with the highest validity. I only want Airtel for incoming.

Cheapest still works out to be Rs 24 / month, which is auto-deducted if you do not do any recharge. All other plans are higher priced.

You may do Rs 35 recharge which gives you Rs 24 talktime - but this Rs 24 is valid only for 28 days and lapses to Rs 0 after that.

Ok now, I only use jio for outgoing, I want the second sim only for emergency outgoing and incoming. Now that Airtel is making it compulsory to recharge every month, is it better to port my Airtel sim to BSNL?

Yes bsnl is that operator who isn't forcing monthly Recharge, yet.

Does Rs 24 has any talktime or just outgoing extension with amount excess of Rs 24?

Bsnl is unreliable. We had network blackout for a week here in a village. Most of the elderly ppl are using bsnl as its cheap now but their quality makes us to think before porting....
