That is exactly what happening with me. They keep on increasing and decreasing according to their wish!I think after few days , it will decrease once again
Hehe. Even I was exploring this option on my main Vodafone number, but could not find it. Ended up adding 26 to my existing balance of 250rs.. I hardly use it for any calls because of my Jio SIM. This Voda number is linked to all my banking etc n hence want to retain it..Thats right, @stiwari bro, but doing this silently is ridiculous.
Also, can we do the "Rs 35 recharge" using existing main balance? If I dial *121# for best offers in Vodafone, I see the Rs 35 plan option with 28 days validity, Rs 26 talktime and 100MB data. Can I use existing balance for this activity? Effectively means a deduction of Rs (35-26) = Rs 9 per 28 days.
Yes, it is available to activate from existing balance. However, this is random and is a part of *121# offers. Checked in two Vodafone SIMs, after dialing *121#, one of the SIM has Rs 35 offer (same - Rs 26 Taktime and 100MB data) and can be activated thru main balance. Another SIM has Rs 95 offer (same as Rs 95 recharge, i.e. Rs 95 Talktime and 500MB data).Hehe. Even I was exploring this option on my main Vodafone number, but could not find it. Did you figure out how to recharge from existing balance? If yes, let me know.
May be their server is having some bug.
May be this is rule which company can only decide to apply or not.But I am still surprised, wont TRAI take any actions on this?
Agreed, but this has to be approved by TRAI - or else we are looking at a mass cutoff of Outgoing calls in End-November - since that is when most of the SIMs will have their 'service validity' expired.May be this is rule which company can only decide to apply or not.
+1There are many Indians who just do a recharge of Rs 10 as and when they get the money- It is tough for them even to spare Rs 35 to get this service validity. Many will see an abrupt disruption of services.
