Hi guys, has Vodafone also implemented this rule already? Anyone using Vodafone has got any message informing about the minimum recharge? I checked on *141# , *121# , *199# but in each case it shows valid till year 2037.

How to check the O/G and I/C validity in Vodafone?

bro ×199# shows validity but not OG or IG.

Kindly update the thread title and include BSNL too.
I have mentioned long back on this thread, BSNL is first one to start it and from years back. No need to update BSNL on thread title.

I suggest members to read full thread before commenting as they may get their question answered already.
Yess BSNL already treating me this from last couple of weeks I was tensed that who's that guy who is spreading that your sim will run after porting to BSNL as BSNL will easy from all.

Bsnl has ₹36/₹37 validity plan for 6 month respectively.
It also offer ₹81 Baisakhi plan for 365 days and ₹136free dom plan for 730days.
If anybody wants a cheaper plan than this airtel voda , and only want to use BSNL as Secondary for Voice then It's Perfectly OK.
Where is that bro? I didn't got that.

I'll advise to just try this send port message to your current operator and when they call back you ask them increase validity or loss customer.

One Vodafone SIM is showing Dec-2037 whereas the other just got reduced to Nov-2018. Are they gradually moving users to avoid backlash? Also, isnt there any TRAI rules to defend this? The last known rule was - If no usage in 60 days then Rs 20 will be deducted from main balance and SIM will remain active. What about that?

yes bro it's OG Validity.
I have been reading this thread and many people are outraged. So am I. I had "purchased" Lifetime Validity when it was launched, by paying Rs 999 and getting no talktime out of it- those days it was required to recharge Rs 400 to get 30 days validity and by paying Rs 999, I got lifetime validity. Now it is showing as reduced to Nov-2018.

Anybody has TRAI link which says this is allowed?
