India's T20i squad against Afghanistan:

Rohit (C), Kohli, Gill, Jaiswal, Tilak, Rinku, Jitesh (WK), Sanju (WM), Shivam Dube, Sundar, Axar, Bishnoi, Kuldeep, Arshdeep, Avesh and Mukesh Kumar.

Selectors are totally confused.
Why mukesh kumar selected all three formats , he is best for red ball cricket and if needed can test in ODIs.
Selectors randomly selecting washington sundar, Dube once in a year , even he is perfoming well or not
As usual Sanju performance is not at all seen by selectors

Am sure selectors will select Shreyas for england series even though he is not at all good in test matches (SA series is sample)

He is good in Subcontinent pitches best player against spinners so no problem him playing in India & Sub continent.

If he is not good in SENA than why we need him in indian pitches alone. Rather we can give chance to some other talented player domestic circuit and produce good players who can play better than him in all the pitches. Even pujara is much better than him.

There is no one better player than Shreyas Iyer in entire world right now who plays spin well so he has to play each and every Tests in India.

Current Players don't have any technique handling spin in middle overs.

Pujara is finished now considering his age, Shreyas Iyer might be 25-26 has lot of tym to improve on his batting Sena Pitches

Lot of them there in domestic ex: sai sudersan seems good in technic but unnecessary selectors trying him in ODIs, he should be there in test.
Just checked in ranji today, Pujara is 35, age is not a factor in tests , he can easily play for next 3 years (Anderson playing at 40 as a fast bowler)

Looks like we cannot transition to new set of players and depend still on Rohit and Virat in T20 WC is not good news for Indian cricket. I still feel they should have retired from T20 and new ones take over but the performances in south africa forced to return to old guard. KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Jadeja had let us down in key matches before and I guess new set of players should be tried for one day and T20 matches to look ahead in future after T20 World Cup.
